Types of scholarships
This year, to maximise the opportunity for our colleagues both here and across our region, we will be offering a mixture of full and partial scholarships, the value of which will differ depending on whether the recipient's place of residence is domestic or international.
Please note none of the scholarship categories include pre- or post-conference workshop attendance. HOWEVER, the conference committee reserves the right to offer scholarship recipients the opportunity to attend pre- or post-conference workshops. This will be wholly dependent on sponsorship commitments to this opportunity.
Successful applicants will be refunded for their scholarship value amount after the conference, and only on submission of travel and accommodation receipts. Refunds are expected to take from 15 - 25 days to process, depending on correct submission of documents/receipts. The conference committee may consider payment before the conference.
Partial scholarships - Domestic and/or international
Will provide conference registration and a ticket to the conference dinner.
Please note partial scholarships do not include any travel, accommodation, or other conference related expenses.
Full scholarships - international
Will provide:
- a Conference registration
- a ticket to the conference dinner
- a LUMP SUM of 1500 to cover travel or accommodation or other conference related expenses. All travel and accommodation arrangements must be made by the scholarship recipient themselves.
The conference committee reserves the right to request proof of address for international scholarship recipients.
Successful applicants will be refunded for their scholarship value amount (as outlined above in the different types of scholarships).
Full scholarships - domestic
Will provide:
- a Conference registration
- a ticket to the conference dinner
- a LUMP SUM of 800 to cover travel or accommodation or other conference related expenses. All travel and accommodation arrangements must be made by the scholarship recipient themselves.
