Our gorgeous venue is situated in the suburb of Riccarton, a short ride from the airport or the city centre, on the edge of the renowned Hagley Park with all it's natural splendour at your doorstep.

When to arrive and depart
  • The main conference runs Monday 3 August to Wednesday 5 August 2026 in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

  • Most delegates can comfortably fly in on Monday morning and still arrive in time for registration and the opening.

  • If you’re travelling from further afield, or prefer a gentler start, you might choose to arrive on Sunday 2 August and settle in.

  • Registration will be from approximately 9:00am on the Monday, with the opening plenary mid‑morning. Our programme will end late afternoon Wednesday. Exact times to be determined but we hope this helps to guide your travel plans.

Flying to Christchurch
  • Christchurch Airport (CHC) is the main gateway for the conference.

  • There are frequent direct flights from Auckland (~1h 25m), Wellington (~50 minutes), Queenstown (~55 minutes) and other centres, with multiple daily services.

  • If you’re coming from Australia or further afield, you can either fly direct into Christchurch or connect via Auckland or Wellington.

  • A taxi or Uber ride takes approximately 16-20 minutes from the airport to our Conference venue.

  • There are also several public transport options although please note that these will take more time and include some walking.

You can check flight options with Air New Zealand, Jetstar and other carriers. We recommend booking in advance to secure better fares.
