JOIN US AT THE CONFERENCE DINNER!
Celebrate ANZEA’s 20th anniversary with a night of music, storytelling, and connection at our conference dinner on 4 August.
On Tuesday 4 August, we’re hosting a special conference dinner to celebrate 20 years of ANZEA and our evaluation community in Aotearoa New Zealand and across Oceania.
The dinner will be held onsite at Chateau on the Park – DoubleTree by Hilton in Ōtautahi Christchurch, so you can move straight from the day’s sessions into an evening of stories, music, and connection.
What to expect
This will be a warm, relaxed evening designed to help you unwind, reconnect, and enjoy being together in person.
- A 20‑year anniversary celebration, with reflection and storytelling about ANZEA’s journey and evaluation’s future pathways – innovation, integrity, and intelligence in practice.
- Live entertainment from local Ōtautahi band D’Sendantz, known for their tight groove, feel, and roots‑reggae‑infused takes on favourite tunes – perfect for a social, festive attmosphere.
- Plenty of chances to chat, laugh, and build relationships with colleagues.
Whether you’re joining us for the first time or you’ve been part of ANZEA since the early days, this dinner is a moment to celebrate our shared work and look ahead together.
When and where
- Date: Tuesday 4 August 2026 (Day 2 of the conference).
- Venue: Chateau on the Park – DoubleTree by Hilton, Ōtautahi Christchurch.
- Time: Pre-dinner drinks start at 7pm, Dinner at 7:30pm.
Dinner tickets are available as an optional add‑on to your ANZEA Conference 2026 registration for NZ$130 per person.
You can:
- Add a dinner ticket when you complete your conference registration;
- Log in to your existing registration and add the dinner to your booking.
We strongly encourage all delegates to come along – your presence will help make this 20‑year celebration a memorable, energising night for our whole community.

Live entertainment from local Ōtautahi band D’Sendantz, who take inspiration from Reggae, Hip Hop, Blues, R&B, Urban Gospel, Jazz, a bit of Rock, and Kiwi music, all rolled up into something tasteful that will leave your musical tastebuds craving more.
